Crafting Hair for the You That’s Showing Up Today

Ottawa hairstylist specializing in dimensional colour, modern movement, and effortless bridal hairstyling.

Thoughtful hair created with care, attention to detail, and respect for the way life evolves.

Hi, I’m Leila

I am a hairstylist, creator, and mother who believes beauty takes time.

Every cut, colour, and style I create is shaped with care and intention. Hair moves with us through seasons of life. It reflects who we are today while quietly evolving with who we are becoming.

Working both behind the chair and on wedding mornings allows me to guide brides through the full journey of their hair, from preparation and growth to the final style worn on the day they say yes to forever.

I love helping women embrace the version of themselves that is showing up right now while honouring the person they are growing into.

I have always been drawn to noticing the small details that make someone unique. Hair became the place where that instinct naturally lived.

Beauty Should Feel Aligned, Not Performative

My approach to hair is rooted in collaboration.

I listen first.

I observe.

Then I refine.

With over seven years behind the chair as an Ottawa hairstylist, my work focuses on

• dimensional colour

• modern shape and movement

• effortless bridal hairstyling

I am drawn to hair that moves.

Hair that feels lived in.

Hair that grows beautifully over time.

Often the smallest details make the biggest difference. The way a wave falls around the face. The tone of colour catching the light. The balance between structure and softness in an updo.

I love noticing those details. I love finding the beauty that already exists in someone and helping it come forward.

The Salon as a Pause

As a mother, I understand the weight women carry and the transitions we move through.

Life moves quickly. Between work, family, and the constant noise of everyday life, it can be easy to lose touch with yourself.

The salon becomes a pause.

A moment to slow down.

A moment to breathe.

A moment to reconnect with yourself.

The work I do behind the chair is not about dramatic transformation. It is about subtle evolution.

Helping someone feel a little more like themselves again.

Sometimes it is refreshing colour that brings light back to the hair. Sometimes it is shaping a haircut that moves easily through the day. Sometimes it is simply creating something that helps someone feel put together even on the busiest mornings.

Hair that supports the life you are actually living.

Effortless, modern, and strong enough to move through the everyday chaos. A style that still feels beautiful when the wind catches it and life is moving around you.

Bridal Hair That Becomes Part of the Memory

A wedding morning carries a feeling that is hard to describe. Anticipation. Excitement. Nerves. Love. The quiet realization that something meaningful is about to begin.

My role is to create calm within that moment.

I design refined, modern bridal hairstyles that feel effortless while still having the structure needed to last through the ceremony, portraits, and the celebration that follows.

Every detail is considered.

Texture.

Face shape.

Dress neckline.

The overall aesthetic of the wedding.

The goal is never to create a hairstyle that feels overly styled or performative.

The goal is to create something that feels like the most confident and elevated version of you.

Hair that photographs beautifully.

Hair that lasts all day.

Hair that lives on in the memories you return to for years to come.

For the Bride Who Values Thoughtful Details

Many of the brides I work with are looking for more than just a hairstylist.

They are looking for someone who values the experience of the morning itself.

You may be a great fit if you are looking for:

  • a calm, organized wedding morning

  • refined hairstyling that feels effortless

  • a hairstylist who takes the time to make it meaningful

To ensure every bride receives a personalized experience, I take on a limited number of Ottawa weddings each season.

The Heart Behind My Work

Motherhood has changed the way I see everything.

My son reminds me every day to slow down and notice the small things. To experience the world with curiosity and wonder.

When I am with him, I try to see life through his eyes. To laugh more. To stay patient when emotions run high. To pause and be mesmerized by ordinary moments.

It reminds me that the point of life is simply to be yourself.

That same philosophy shapes my work.

Whether you are sitting in my chair for a colour appointment or preparing for your wedding day, my goal is the same.

To help you feel like yourself again.

Or maybe like a version of yourself you are just beginning to discover.

Ready to Begin?
